About the job

At Skylight, software engineers design, implement, and maintain software systems to improve government services for users. This software is built to meet the needs of regular users of government services as well as Skylight’s partners in government.

In this role, you’ll be part of a national effort to ensure all patients are accurately represented in public health surveillance and response. You’ll collaborate with leading public health experts and technologists at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to improve disease tracking from diagnostic tests performed in non-traditional or under-resourced settings. You’ll help streamline data reporting for facilities and ensure that patients and communities are effectively connected with their local public health authorities.

What you’ll do

• Engineer a software product as part of a cross-functional team, which includes user experience researchers and designers, product managers, engineers, and other functional specialists
• Achieve technical excellence by advocating for and adhering to lean-agile engineering principles and practices such as API-first design, simple design, continuous integration, version control, and automated testing
• Select and use the right tools, frameworks, languages, and technologies for the job, with a preference for open-source solutions
• Analyze systems to identify technical debt, instability, unreliability, and other opportunities for improvement, as well as design, document, and communicate solutions

On a typical day, you will be working on:

The ranges listed below are the expected annual base salary for this role, subject to change.

DAO-Ops workstream is a pivotal group of contributors dedicated to facilitating the operations of the DAO. This involves inventing and implementing efficient processes to ensure seamless decision-making for Lido DAO token holders.

The workstream consists of two key contributor groups:

• a technical team responsible for on-chain and off-chain code for voting mechanisms
• DAO-Ops managers responsible for all processes and communications.

Within Lido, there are various contributor teams working on different projects. Most of these projects require approval from the DAO, a process that can be quite complex. The role of DAO-Ops Managers is to assist these teams in smoothly navigating this process.

By providing guidance and support, DAO-Ops managers ensure that the necessary steps are taken for proposals to be properly approved and executed within the DAO's governance framework. What You’ll Do:

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our cinematics team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the creation of high-quality cinematics, in-game cinematics, trailers, promotional videos, and gameplay footage for our game releases. As a BDR, you will play a crucial role in identifying and qualifying potential leads, generating new business opportunities, and supporting our sales team in achieving revenue targets. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for building relationships with prospects. What you'll do:

• Prospect and identify potential clients by researching and qualifying leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and other sales tactics.
• Conduct outbound calls and engage in proactive outreach to educate prospects about our Employer of Record services, identify their needs, and schedule meetings or demos for the sales team.
• Qualify leads and gather key information to assess their potential as prospective clients.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop and implement effective strategies for lead generation and pipeline development.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities, interactions, and prospecting details in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with marketing to provide feedback on campaigns and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Keep up to date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to effectively position our EOR services and differentiate our offerings.
• Actively participate in team meetings, share insights, and contribute ideas to enhance sales and lead generation processes.
• Meet or exceed monthly targets for qualified leads, meetings scheduled, and revenue generated.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in sales development, lead generation, or similar roles.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage with prospects and build rapport.
• Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to handle objections and rejection professionally and persistently.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities.
• Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in using sales tools and technologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, supporting sales initiatives and goals.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of the Employer of Record industry, HR outsourcing, or related services is a plus.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
